Mother’s Day Sale at the Snow Leopard Trust

Margaret Margaret May 2, 2012 Comments are off

Back in December, we told you about the cool little store run by the Snow Leopard Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to community-based Snow Leopard conservation. The store is in the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North), in Suite #225 (which is located right where you walk in the front door at the GSC).

Anyway, they’re having a big sale tomorrow (Thursday, May 3), from 12:00PM – 7:00PM in honor of Mother’s Day, and if you mention this post, you’ll get an extra 10% off your purchase! No, no, no, I’m not asking you to buy your mom a Snow Leopard (though that’d be kinda cool: note to self). Instead, here are some of the items they’re selling for the occasion:

The Snow Leopard Trust has put together an exclusive gift basket for moms that includes a set of handmade cotton napkins, a small plush and note cards all wrapped up in an eco-friendly sea grass basket for only $26!

Some of the most popular items- such as handmade rugs, centerpieces, note cards, embroidered handbags and organic cotton infant snappies, to name a few- will be discounted from 10-30% off!  They will also be holding a raffle for a one-of-a-kind, limited edition, hand-embroidered Sagsai handbag that is as unique as it is beautiful.  The best part:  purchasing a gift for that special mom from the Snow Leopard Trust makes a difference for the moms in Central Asia who make the handicrafts, as well as those wild snow leopard moms who are so important in keeping this magnificent species thriving, and the greatest mother of all – Mother Earth.

And now, for your moment of “awwwww!”
