Wallingford Farmers Market starts May 30

Margaret Margaret May 20, 2012 2 Comments

The Wallingford Farmers Market season kicks-off on Wednesday, May 30 from 3:30-7:00PM and is open every Wednesday (except July 4) through September 26. This is the second year the Farmers Market will be located at Meridian Park (Meridian Avenue N. at N. 50th St.).

This year, Sky Valley Farm and Skagit River Ranch are joining the market to sell fresh eggs. A Chefs Only market returns this year which takes place from 3:00PM-3:30PM every Wednesday.  There will also be cooking demonstrations by our local chefs. All cooking demonstrations are scheduled for 4-5 p.m., during the market on Wednesdays. See below for the schedule.

The Wallingford Chamber of Commerce is organizing a Community Table again this year, highlighting all of the great community organizations in the neighborhood. Click here you’re interested in volunteering to staff the table.

Organizers ask that you park your vehicles on Meridian Avenue N. and not at the Good Shepherd Center.

It’s nice to see the discreetly placed signs around the neighborhood instead of trashing a single block with dozens of signs like what was done last year. Thank you.

why cant people park at the Good Sheperd Center? One of the reasons to have the market there which was touted at us.. was the ample parking. Now , we arent supposed to use it?
