Father and Son

Jordan Jordan June 17, 2012 10 Comments

You’ll forgive us a bit of vanity, but the day invited us to post this shot Matt Kowalczyk shot of my son and I yesterday at the Fremont Solstice Parade. As fine a father and son portrait as I could wish for.

And big thanks to my Dad and to all the dads out there. Your children love you, and with good reason.

That’s adorable 🙂 Happy fathers day, and be sure to express my thanks for the green lollypop to your son! You guys were great at the parade.

We were delighted at the parade to see the very small guy on stilts (had no idea who he was). Most impressive–he must be very focused practicing. A “Well done!” to the whole family.

Your son was a real crowd pleaser. He entertained all of our crowd of friends (many of whom were kids) with his stilting prowess.

Wow! hat was “baby” Z? Everyone around me was in awe of his stilt-walking ability. Had I only known who he was, I would have cheered even louder. I see many years of solstice parades in his future.

Nice shot – but it’s not a “shot of I”, is it? It’s “a shot of me” – hence “me and my son”, or “my son and me”.

It was great seeing you and baby z in the parade! We were in awe of the littlest stilter we’d ever seen!! He looked very comfortable!
