Last Wallingford Walk: A Guided Architecture Tour

Margaret Margaret August 8, 2012 Comments are off

Come on out this Saturday (August 11) from 10:00am – 12:00PM, for the last Wallingford Walk of the season, featuring the neighborhood’s classic architecture:

Al Elliot, a local Wallingford expert on historic architecture, will be leading the walk. We’ll take a look at some of the classic commercial buildings along 45th as well as head down Wallingford Avenue for a look at period homes and architectural details. As Al is known for doing, he’s arranged for a tour of the interior of a wonderful craftsman bungalow along the way. The walk will start outside of Tully’s, 2100 North 45th Street, at 10:00 am, and will cover approximately two miles at a leisurely pace over approximately 2 hours.

For more information, please call the Wallingford COMMUNITY Senior Center: 206-461-7825.
