Community Council meets Wednesday, February 6

Lee February 5, 2013 Comments are off

The Wallingford Community Council will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 6, 7:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Center.  Among items on the agenda will be a presentation on going solar at your home, and updates on the design of the new North Transfer Station.

The rebuilding of the Transfer Station is on the horizon, and Seattle Public Utilities will present updated design proposals. In addition, SPU will ask the Community Council to agree to amend its contract with SPU to allow the administration building to be re-oriented on the site. This change would require a setback requirement in the WCC/SPU contract to be changed.  The WCC Board will be reviewing and considering the request.

Everyone is welcome.
