Setting out to climb only one mountain in a lifetime may be just fine for some, but not for Ryan Tuttle. During his first “Climb for Cancer” last year, the Wallingford resident got to watch the sun rise from the top of Mt. Rainier, and raised nearly 10k for breast cancer research. The experience was so alluring, he wants to do it again; only this time, he’s chosen Mt. Baker and has asked 9 of his friends to join him.

The group, dubbed The Baker 10, hopes to raise over 30k for breast cancer research before their climb in July. If you’d like to help them reach their goal, you can check out their fundraising page here. Word has it some neighborhood businesses are already jumping on board to help Tuttle with the cause, which may also include a fundraising event here in the neighborhood. More details to follow!
