Chroma Cut-A-Thon For Clean Water

Margaret Margaret April 19, 2013 1 Comment

In honor of Earth Day on Monday (4/22), Wallyhood sponsor Chroma Salon and and Spa will host it’s second annual cut-a-thon.  The event will take place at their Wallingford location, 1905 N 45th St., from 11:00am to 7:00 p.m. All proceeds from haircuts and spa services will go to benefit the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance, whose mission is to stop pollution from entering Puget Sound. Puget Soundkeeper Alliance actively patrols and monitors the waters of Puget Sound, the only environmental group to do so.

Chroma Salon and Spa works exclusively with AVEDA, whose vision is connecting beauty, environment, and well-being. Beginning in 2007, Aveda has donated Earth Month proceeds to organizations working to combat the clean water crisis – to date more than $20 million have been directed to support hundreds of clean water projects on six continents. Chroma hopes to raise $3,645 during the event on Monday.

“We believe that good business is responsible business,” says Bryce Francis.  “It is so gratifying to participate in a program like Aveda Earth Month that allows us to participate in a global initiative that directly benefits the community where we live and work.”

Give the salon a call for more information: 206-805-2055 or email [email protected].
