A conversation with the mayor on aging in the community

This Thursday, June 13, from 11:30am to 1:00PM, Mayor Mike McGinn and the City of Seattle’s Aging & Disabilities Director, Jesse Eller will be at the Wallingford Community Senior Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North, lower level) to discuss aging in the community.

    I hope others are able to attend.

    some of us elders still work regular hours and can NOT attend a day time meeting.

    Yes, I thought of that and meant to mention it in my post. I am hoping that the attendance is good. I plan to ask for an evening meeting.
    I will write my impressions on the forum. This is a start, and i hope it becomes something really big and useful for all who live in the area.

    I live near the new development. As long as they provide realistic parking spaces for the new residents and space for new businesses, and do not change existing zoning then I don’t really have a beef with the project.
