Wallingford-Family-Parade-and-Festival-Logo-1024x625Mark your calendars, folks: The 64th Annual Wallingford Family Seafair Parade & Festival will be on Saturday, July 6, beginning at 11am. We’ll post more details about street closures and whatnot in the coming days, but right now, the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce is looking for some volunteers to help. Here’s what Victoria, over at the Chamber, tells us:

Planning is well underway for the 64th Annual Wallingford Family Seafair Parade & Festival, scheduled for Saturday, July 6th! The Parade will begin at 11 AM and proceed West to East along 45th and the Festival will run from 12 – 5 PM at the Meridian Playground at the Good Shepherd Center.

The Wallingford Chamber of Commerce and Wallingford Community Senior Center are teaming up to keep this traditional event going in 2013. Formerly known as the Kiddie Parade, this year we are expanding and renaming the event to incorporate all of our “Wallingford Family”.

But we need YOUR help too! Consider volunteering with us to make this year’s Parade & Festival the best yet!

Volunteers are needed to help with:
  • Parade & Festival Planning
  • Parade Registration
  • Parade Route Set Up
  • Parade Monitors
  • Festival Set Up & Take Down
  • Festival Day Onsite Volunteers
and more!

Help the Wallingford Chamber and the Wallingford Community Senior Center keep this neighborhood tradition going!

To volunteer, email us at [email protected]

Thanks for your help!

    Thanks for sharing this!
Just to clarify, the Parade is actually scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM, not 10AM – my typo!
