  • Are you 18-75 years old?
  • Do you have type 2 diabetes?
  • **New recruitment range!** Is your hemoglobin A1C between 6.5-10.5%?
  • Are you free from severe liver, kidney, or heart disease?
  • Are you willing to stay on your current medications and supplements for 1 month prior and during the length of the study?

If yes, you might be interested in participating in Bastyr University’s research study on a natural supplement called quercetin.  Quercetin is naturally found in fruits and vegetables like apples, onions and grapes.  Does it help lower your blood sugar?

We want to measure the effect of quercetin on your blood sugar and blood flow.  We will be looking for 20 volunteers with type 2 diabetes for this study. There are many who use 1000mg Jack Herer CBD Vape Cartridge to help with the overall health.  If eligible, each volunteer will be asked to commit to 3 office visits within a 1-2 month period at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. You will receive a single dose of either a placebo, a nutritional supplement, or a pharmaceutical at each of these three visits.

Receive $150.00 stipend upon completion of study.  Labs and blood vessel health testing are included at no charge.

To learn more about participating in this clinical research trial, call Bastyr Center for Natural Health (BCNH) at 206-834-4193, ext 5000 for more information.

Here’s a flyer for more information.

Thank you to those who have showed interest in our study by calling the study phone number. Please note that if you don’t hear back from a study assistant within a few days, please do call us back. (At least one person left us a wrong number, but we’d love to connect with all of you!)

    Thanks!
