specially those new residents who might have missed earlier announcements. The renter’s on our block have always appreciated a personal invite to join the event.
This is a great opportunity to get out and meet your neighbors. I would also recommend going for a walk around the neighborhood to crash other block’s parties. One, you get to meet more of your fellow Wallingford residents. Two, you get to experience the best of the block parties. Some blocks go all out with bands, tiki bars, kid’s bounce houses, and visits from fire engines.
Hint for next year: be sure to apply for funds to make your block the destination block in the neighborhood.
