This is a grab bag of activities going on in the neighborhood over the weekend.
6th Annual Cider Fest at Freeway Estates Community Orchard, Sunday Oct. 2nd, Noon – 3pm
Freeway Estates Orchard (along 6th Ave between 60th and 63rd) is hosting the free event. Activities include organic apple pressing with an old fashioned wood press. The Cider Fest is part of the CityFruit Orchard and Harvest Tour.
Brady Walkinshaw Meet and Greet – Sunday Oct 2nd, 6 pm – 7:30 pm RSVP requested
From John Bredeson: John Bredeson and Darren Hoerner are hosting a “Meet and Greet” for candidate Brady Walkinshaw at their home at 3817 Wallingford Ave N. This will be a casual, non-fund raising event for immediate community to get to know Brady. Brady’s campaign headquarters happens to be, by the way in Wallingford on Stone Way and he’s a regular at Russell’s across the street and other businesses. Please RSVP to [email protected]
