Photos of the Unique and Bizarre

  • Post author:

Last week, we posted an article soliciting your photos of the unique and bizarre items that decorate the streets of our neighborhood. The response was a little underwhelming. Could that be due to the earlier onset of darkness these days? Rainy weather? Dunno.

We did get a few interesting entries, however, to supplement my own. Let us know in the comments if you can identify the approximate location of each one. (Note that the photos are numbered in the captions so you can refer to them by that number.) Avid walkers should do well on most of them. And as for one of them … avid flyers will have the best shot! We’ll post the answers, along with some interesting back stories, in a future article.

#1 is on Burke around the lower 40’s. I know this because it’s on my daily dog walk route.

#7 is on 2nd, north of 45th. And I believe #8 is on Burke, north of 44th.
