Open House for New Development at Zoka, July 10, 5:30 p.m.

The developers of new townhouses are holding an open house for the community on Tuesday, July 10th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Zoka (2200 N 56th St.).  The new townhouses will be located beside the Burgundian. The flyer for the event can be downloaded here.

The community has had a lot of thoughts about development and density. This is a great opportunity to discuss these topics with the developers themselves. Get the developers views on parking, the impact of HALA on their decision-making process, or what the Tangletown Commercial District (NC1 -30) means?  For that last one, their image was the first I had heard of it and I have lived only a few blocks from that area for over a decade.

If you are interested in a more thorough due diligence on the development, search for record #3029293 at this URL http://web6.seattle.gov/dpd/edms/.  The city website does not easily allow direct linking.

I think it’s a very cool thing that these folks want to engage with the community.
