Let’s Launch Lincoln!

Lincoln High School reopening September 2019

Depiction of the new front entrance to Lincoln High School

Lincoln High School is opening in less than 125 days. Families around the neighborhood are excited about their first day of school at Lincoln High since the closure in 1981.

Principal Ruth Medsker and Vice Principal Corey Eichner have been working tirelessly to make sure the Lincoln Lynx are ready to launch from the first day, but the student body still needs your support.

The Lincoln High School PTSA will support all incoming students in academics, athletics, classrooms, and clubs. They have a goal of raising
$60,000 in startup funds so that Lincoln is fully equipped for students when they walk through the doors in September.

Donations will support the programs, equipment, and supplies that are not included in the school startup budget. Some examples are:
ACTIVITIES & STUDENT SUPPORT
• Club supplies, the maker space, Lincoln gear

ATHLETICS
• Camps, team supplies, equipment

PERFORMING ARTS & MUSIC
• Sheet music, marching band uniforms, and a grand piano

There are a few easy ways to give to the cause. Checks are payable to Lincoln High School PTSA, 520 NE Ravenna Blvd., Seattle, WA 98115. You can also donate online at https://lincolnhs.seattleschools.org/get_involved/ptsa or even donate through your smartphone—just text LYNX to 41444

The top 50 donors who give by May 15th will receive an early-bird tour of the newly renovated Lincoln High School building this summer.

The fundraising campaign runs MAY 1st – 15th

Thank you for considering supporting the Lincoln Lynx new inaugural classes. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Hope it is ready on time. Hard to believe when I walk by it.

Majority of the work is upgrade not building from scratch, so the look is deceiving.
