Smashed windows at Slave to the Needle

Ben Robinson Ben Robinson November 1, 2019 1 Comment

The morning crime beat saw some action this morning.  Most of the street facing windows at Slave to the Needle (403 45th St) were smashed sometime over night.  The broken windows were smashed out of the panes with more damage than just a stray rock tossed through a window.
Generic broken glass because it was too dark for my photos to be useful

I saw several of their staff cleaning up the debris early this morning.  They said nothing appeared to be stolen.  It appeared to be just random violence.  There was also one smashed window across the street at the building that houses the new KinderCare.

The Slave to the Needle staff were in good spirits given the early morning cleanup, but it couldn’t hurt to show give them a quick show of neighborhood support if you walk by.
