Wallingford Farmers Market Tonight and every Wednesday

Julie Martin Julie Martin June 1, 2022 Comments are off

Last week was the first week of the 2022 Wallingford Farmers Market which now runs every Wednesday 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm through September 28, 2022. It’s one of my favorite ways to celebrate summer (or at least warmer weather!) – walking to the park, sampling delicious food and drink, watching the kids play and greeting neighbors old and new. Here are a few more notes from the website:

About

You’ll find a wide variety of seasonal farm produce from Washington farms, artisanal food makers with the finest take home products or ready-to-eat meals, all including locally grown ingredients from our farmers, fishers and ranchers. (See list of links below!)  The Washington State Farmers Markets Association (WSFMA) recognized this outdoor farmers market as the Best Farmers Market in 2013.  Bring the family to enjoy the park, an award-winning playground and P-Patch while you do your weekly shopping.

Parking

Please park along Meridian Avenue N. No parking available in the Good Shepherd Center parking lot or along Sunnyside Avenue N.

Food Access

EBT/SNAP, WIC & Senior FMNP, Fresh Bucks coupons, as well as credit/debit cards are accepted at this market. Click here to learn more about the Fresh Bucks matching program in the City of Seattle.

Location

Wallingford Farmers Market is located in Meridian Park at the corner of Meridian Avenue N and N 50th Street. Click here for driving directions and google map.
