JAS Corner Store Maker’s Market June 5–26

Our local design-build firm JAS has a small and very sweet homewares store, called JAS Corner Store, at 3540 Wallingford Avenue N. They would like to announce their upcoming Maker’s Market pop-up, starting Friday, June 5, and continuing until Friday, June 26th, or while supplies last.

This is their second annual Maker’s Market, where they invite JAS employees, friends, and family members to market their own handmade wares for several weeks in the store. This year’s artisans include woodworkers, painters, leather makers, ceramicists, sewers, and printmakers. All proceeds of this event go to the makers themselves—it is a chance to highlight the many talents of the JAS family to the larger community.

The store also features art, in conjunction with Seattle Art Source. The current featured artist is Vancouver, BC-based painter Rubeena Ratcliffe.

The store is open on Fridays and Saturdays, 11 am–5 pm. But if you want to poke your head in on another day, I’ve been told there are always people present at the shop.
