WCC will hold its Annual Meeting this coming Wednesday. Larry Phillips, our representative to the King County Council will be the special speaker. Councilmember Phillips will discuss County actions  critical to Wallingford residents such as transit service and the use of county property in our neighborhood.

The Board will also briefly report on its activities over the past year and plans for the future. This is your opportunity to learn about and comment on WCC’s actions in the neighborhood.

WCC to Hear From Avtech Site Developer

The developer of the Avtech property will present its plans for an apartment project at 34th and Wallingford to the Wallingford Community Council on Wednesday, March 6th, 7:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue N. Rm. 202). Also on the agenda will be updates on other neighborhood land use issues and community events.

Community Council meets Wednesday, February 6

The Wallingford Community Council will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 6, 7:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Center.  Among items on the agenda will be a presentation on going solar at your home, and updates on the design of the new North Transfer Station.

The rebuilding of the Transfer Station is on the horizon, and Seattle Public Utilities will present updated design proposals. In addition, SPU will ask the Community Council to agree to amend its contract with SPU to allow the administration building to be re-oriented on the site.
