Senior Center Volunteer Fair
The Wallingford Community Senior Center is looking for volunteers of all ages to help with their programs. This coming Saturday the Senior Center is having a Volunteer Fair to showcase a range of opportunities for your involvement. It will be setting up booths where you can learn about different tasks at the Senior Center you could help with. It’s a great group of people to be working with and a great group of people you would be helping. There will be games and prizes, plus snacks.

The Covid Vaccine Clinic at the Senior Center on October 6 proved so popular that all the adult appointment slots quickly filled up. Fix-It Fair this Saturday
Zero Waste Washington and Seattle Makers will host a Fix-It Fair on Saturday afternoon (3-6 pm), October 1. Seattle Makers is located 3300 Wallingford N, at the top of the Wallingford Steps, just south of the 34th and Wallingford intersection. The Fix-It Fair is free.

The Wallingford Community Senior Center will be offering a Covid vaccine clinic on Thursday, October 6. They will be administering both the new, bivalent booster and the original series. All three brands of vaccines will be available. The whole process will take you less than 30 minutes.

Act Today: Street Side Electric Car Chargers
You only have until Wednesday (8/31) midnight to apply for a street side electric car charger at an electric pole near your house. City Light has funds to install 30 street side chargers in Seattle. They are now accepting applications but it closes on August 31. So you need to get moving right now.
