After sampling some delicious shortbread, Wallyreader Frankie tipped us off to the grand re-opening of the coffee shop/bakery adjacent to Julia's. Hungry for some baked goods, I stopped by the new Seattle Espresso and nibbled a tasty chocolate/espresso/salted caramel shortbread cookie while friendly manager Scott gave me the low-down. Wallingford Art Walk, continuing it's "second Wednesday of the month" schedule, returns from 6 - 9 pm this Wednesday. Colleen Kurke will be hosting local metal artist Jason Stahl and his boat sculptures at Cutz Meridian (4515 Meridian Ave N).
