While it sounds like the Wallingford Garden Tour was an overall success, we did receive one disturbing report from one of the hosts: Unfortunately, I had some very angry neighbors last night and am wondering if you or any of the other tour hosts knew a 50ish man in khaki with black hair and a black Dali-esque mustache. The neighbors saw him with the Tour booklet and he came to my house after 4 p.m., although I did not see him…

Earlier today, we reported on the impending traffic nightmare that is the Fourth of July. Sara D. reminded us that there's no need to wait for July for our dose of inch-an-hour traffic. This weekend is University of Washington graduation. Honestly, we wouldn't even try to bike on the Burke Gilman. Dig a tunnel and move around like a mole. It's your best bet.

The SPD is expecting an extra 10,000…

It was, of course, the annual Wallingford Garden Tour, a self-guided meander through 12 of the most splendid yards Wallingford has to offer. Mrs. Wallyhood and Baby Z were our roving reporters for the day. There was a healthy, steady stream of visitors at all the gardens visited and the hosts were friendly, welcoming and happy to…
