Inauguration Day at Not A Number

Inauguration Day!We don’t know about you all, but Wallyhood found ourselves in tears at the end of Obama’s speech this morning, our babe nestled in Mrs. Wallyhood’s arms.

Now, it’s back to work, but if you’ve got some time today, drop in on Not A Number, where they’ll be celebrating all day. Kara reports:

oh, yes, anyone can come on in for our lil’ party…we’ll prob be throwing shoes at the Bush standup too. deets are only: yummy munchies & drink; incl Obama cookies & champagne; shoe throwing; nerf guns to shoot at the tv when we see any shots of bush, cheney, etc, like we did at the debate-viewing parties; 6 to 8ish. oh, and 15% discounts on all purchases during that time.

Their web site also reports they will be reshowing the speech on their big screen TV from 6:30 – 7:00 pm today.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same.
