Molly Movie?

  • Post author:

We saw this intriguing sign in Molly Moon’s Ice Cream Shop’s window this evening:

Another Robin William’s film? Late-breaking Sundance entry? Inquiring minds want to know!

We’ve sent Molly an inquiry and will let you know what we hear.

Update (1/18/09): Molly responded:

i actually don’t know the name of the film. it’s an indie short that will be at sundance, but i don’t know much more than that. they’re filming a scene in my shop this morning. i’ll try to let you know when they send me a copy!

Wallyhood is suspicious. Sounds like a scam to be left alone in the ice cream shop for several hours. A scam we want in on.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

Does Molly Moon’s actually serve a breakfast other than ice cream?
Word on the street in that there is an indie short out of Seattle going to Sundance called Humpday, about two heterosexual guys filming themselves having sex for an art project. Hmmm.
It’s all not really making any sense to me.

I am a new resident of Wallyhood. I work for the Seattle Public Schools, and I have an eleven yr old boy-who loves sports, WII, wrestling?, art, guitar, nature, and goofing off. I would love to meet my neighbors for tea or a beer-pool anyone? Love books, photography, film, art, nature, politics-liberal-greenish,dancing?, definitely live music, comedy and plays. My son would love to meet more kids his agish. You can find me on facebook too-Kelly LaCombe. Chow!!
