Constitutional Quiz

constitutionBrian asked if there were any plans for block parties / bands playing in the ‘hood today. We’re sure they’re around for the scouting. We do know, however, that the The Constitutional Quiz Booth will be back this year at 4323 Bagley St. Stop in and take a quiz about the constitution, answer correctly and get a prize!

If you’re wondering exactly where it is, it’s on the the same block as the enormous tree that has been pruned to look like a huge cactus. Rumor has it that the goal is to irk a divorced former partner. Scandalous!

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    That tree is out of control. Walked by it tonight (after the Joule BBQ) and was blown away.
