Come trip the night fantastic at Gas Works park tomorrow, Wednesday July 22th at 8:15 pm with Lullabye Moon, part of a year-long series of full moon performances at parks around the city:

Lullaby Moon is a year-long invitation to Seattle to explore a world of dream. A celebration of the night sky, the series of performance events brings bedtime whimsy and wonder to parks and other public spaces throughout the city, enlivening and enlightening the dark time of each month. The twilight performance begins around 8:15 pm at Kite Hill, Gas Works Park. Please bring a picnic and enjoy the evening with us. Those with early bedtimes are welcome to attend any part of the performance.

We’ll be there, picnic snack in basket, to enjoy the show. From the looks of it, we think we’d best label our drink “Drink Me” and our cake “Eat Me” for good measure.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
