Wallingford Happy Hours?

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    I don’t see Ivar’s on here. Their extended happy hours are Sunday-Thursday ~ 3:30pm to close and Fri & Sat ~ 3:30-6:30pm and 9pm to close.

    Blue C Sushi (Fremont) has happy hour from 4-7 daily.

    The Rusty Pelican also has a happy hour, though I don’t know the hours offhand.

    For iPhone fans, the Stranger created an application called “Cocktail Compass,” which finds happy hours near you, using your phone’s location services.

    Just walked past Rusty Pelican: their happy hour is 3-6 and 8-close. Smaller, less-expensive versions of some of their menu items, including a basic quesadilla and gyros, I think.

    May also has Happy Hour daily, from like, 4-7 or 5-7, cheap apps, 1-2 dollars off of their delicious specialty drinks, and cheap wells, wine and beer.

    It’s a different kind of happy hour, but at Mighty-O Donuts in Tangletown, all donuts are half price from 4 to 5.
