Wallingford Art Walk Tonight

We almost forgot: tonight is Wallingford Art Walk, and it’s the second to last one of 2009, so don’t miss it.

Unfortunately, this one snuck up on us a bit, so we aren’t sure exactly who’s showing where, but we do know that if you stroll down 45th Street, you’ll see your neighbors moseying from shop to shop, eating noshes and sipping wines and you can them where the good stuff is. And for certain, the Old Dog & the New Tricks blues band will be playing on the Wallingford Center patio from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, so that’s something. And Cutz always has good food and drink and happy, chatty people (and art). And Releaf Massage and Alliance Healing Arts are offering free chair massages.

And, ya know, art.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same.
