Auction Closing

  • Post author:

Reminder: the Wallingford Senior Center Auction on-line fundraiser auction is closing on Sunday, and so far we’ve got over $1,400 pledged! Thank you all so much, both those who donated and those who’ve bid.

It’s not too late to get your bid in, giving yourself the opportunity to both help the senior center and avail yourself of some of the fabulous services and goods that our neighborhood has to offer. A laptop computer donated by the fine folks at InterConnection? A personal life history donated by Life History Books? A massage donated by Essential Life Therapy? Come on, treat yourself!

See the full list with the latest bids in the sidebar of the blog (those of you reading the blog via e-mail, this would be a great time to click through and see Wallyhood in all her technicolor glory).

Jordan

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    Heya Jordan,

What time on Sunday does the auction close? [Sorry if it’s right in front of my eyes and I’m missing it!]

I’m not actually sure. Midnight? The auction software just asked for a day, not a time.
