Lakewood Shooting Suspect Near?

b2eb63261bSeveral news sources, including Q13, are reporting that the man sought as a “person of interest” in the shooting of 4 Lakewood police officers yesterday, Maurice Clemmons, was seen getting off a bus in the University District around 7 am this morning. Text and e-mail alerts have been sent to students.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same.     The Seattle Times has “tweeted” that this was a case of mistaken identity and the search near UW has been called off.

    They’re looking at a park in Beacon Hill now, I believe.
