Happy Boxing Day, everyone! We imagine there are a bunch of sales kicking in, for those of you who decided to really put off your holiday shopping. Comics Dungeon (250 NE 45th St), for example, is having a big one (60% off back issue, 40% off hardcover books, 2 toys gets a third of equal or lesser value for free, Silver Age backstock 50% off, etc.)

Anything else going on? We’re happy to post a round-up if enough folks send ’em in.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    Izilla toys has 20% off everything until Jan 31 and Mad Woman Yarns has a sale until Jan 1 but I don’t know how much, both at Wallingford Center.

    Nice need to swing by tomorrow and pick up some Cable back issues. Anyone know if this applys to the trades?
