The successor to the Four Legs Good pet store, Wally Pets, opens today. In our original post announcing the opening (New Pet Shop), a number of commenters mentioned their dissatisfaction with the old shop. For example:
I eventually had to give up on Four Legs Good after more than once I ran by to get pet supplies there, but was surprised to find them closed or in “be right back” state, and it kinda threw my whole errand schedule off for the day.
Cheryl, the new owner, has heard the complaints and has pledged to right the wrongs:
I thank you all for your insight and advice! I am very excited for this space to have a fresh start… in all ways! I absolutely agree that there was a consistent lack of professionalism as “four legs good”… Wally Pets is eager to earn your trust and a reputation of excellence!! & dependability.

Hello all!! I want to thank Wallyhood for announcing our opening! It sounds like bird supplies are a big request. We can definitely do that! I am in the process of contracting with my main vendors right now. Stock is very low (compared to what I want it to be) as we open this first week. BUT – we are finally open for business & will be getting all sorts of great stuff VERY soon! If you are have any suggestions, requests, remarks, etc.. Today was the day I’ve been dreaming of my whole life.. to come home after a full & exciting work day at my own little pet paradise! *sigh*

Glad to have Wallypets open. I value a neighborhood pet store and am willing to pay a bit more to have them available. It might be good to offer discounts/10 visit cards or something to elderly and/or local customers. I sometimes felt 4-legs didn’t value my shopping there.
Keeping well stocked on the food you carry and don’t talk on the phone when a customer is waiting. FLG= worst pet store ever. Good riddance Four Legs Good and welcome Wally Pets.
Hooray! Gabby and I are so excited that Wally Pets is open! Everything looked great when we stopped by over the weekend, and we will definitely be back soon to check it out!
My puppy and I walked in there this evening to check it out. The owner was there and she was so incredibly nice. My pup adored her (especially the yummy treats). The store is super cute and it appears it carries several healthy brands of dog food and dog treats. I plan on returning soon.
