If you’ve had trouble leaving comments on Wallyhood posts recently, we apologize. We are experimenting with a new system, and it’s been having some problems. We’ve turned it off and reverted to the old system until we can get it sussed.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

Sussed! Now there’s a twenty-five cent word. The only time I’ve actually “heard” that word used is on the Tommy soundtrack!

By the way, I like the old comments format waaaay better. Just my .02.

The chairs are incredibly comfortable, the lamps beautiful, the tables just right, even the rugs and fake fireplace are comfy and cozy. Redesign Mosaic? Completely unnecessary. It’s great the way it is.

Michael, I think you took a wrong turn at Albuquerque :: points & whispers :: the Mosaic blog is up there ^

But, I agree that Mosaic is pretty cool as is!

    Hi Jordan,
India is amazing, but Wollyhood is my hood. I am so happy to get these emails on whats’s happening. I will be in India until late May as the work on the book is taking longer. Thanks for watching out for my car.
