Life gives you second chances!  Seattle Tilth is doing a re-do of last weekend’s Edible Plant Sale at discounted prices on Friday, May 7th (the Mayor is glad he got his plants last weekend):

SECOND CHANCE PLANT SALE

Buy edible plants left from last weekend’s sale for $2 on Friday, May 7, 4-7pm at the Good Shepherd Center.

Seattle Tilth has 8,000 locally grown organic veggie plants and sustainably grown culinary herbs and edible flowers available this Friday, 4-7 p.m. in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood.

Friday, May 7, 4-7 p.m.
Good Shepherd Center
(4649 Sunnyside Ave. N., Seattle 98103) – south side of building

Just in time for Mothers Day, you can buy wonderful edible plants $2 each with discounts for volume purchases on the south side of the Good Shepherd Center.  The selection is based on what was left from last weekend’s huge Edible Plant Sale. Download our list of veggies and herbs.   Descriptions can be found on our plant lists from the May 1 & 2 sale.

You will receive an additional discount of 10% off for purchases of $50 and up and 20% off for purchases $100 and up.

Bring plant flats, boxes, wagons and friends to help you carry your plants! We will be managing  the line similarly to last weekend’s sale, holding the line as needed so we do not exceed the capacity of the space. This will create a better shopping experience for everyone.

Be like Mike!  Plant more gardens, Seattle!

Helen

Helen has lived in Wallingford for 16 years and think it’s the best neighborhood in Seattle, possibly the world. She has worn a track between her house, QFC and the library and spends a lot time poking her nose into things. She is a mother, does volunteer work and is interested in local, green and child-related issues. She has an advanced degree in English literature and thus reads a lot and enjoys the craft of writing. She also works part-time for her husband’s software company (doesn’t everyone have a software company around here?).
