Sounds related to the note we got from Pete over at Archie McPhee last night:

Power outage @ 45th & Stoneway.  6:30PMish.  Seems to be affecting about 80 customers. here at Archie McPhee half our power is off! We close at 8 so we will see what tomorrow brings!  Also a hit & run just happened in the intersection outside!

Word from folks whether this has cleared up?

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    The traffic lights at Stone & 45th are working again. Unfortunately there was a hit and run car accident in the southbound lane of Stone Way last night during the outage between 7 and 7:30pm. A dark blue station wagon-ish vehicle was hit by a red pick-up truck that made a quick u-turn across Stone and sped off going west on 45th. Shame on them.
