Turnip greens, cheese & cooking demonstrations! Oh, my!

Don’t forget to write those grocery lists! One week from today (5/19) the Wallingford Farmers Market will return for its fifth season. This weekly, Wednesday market is located at the Wallingford Center at NE 45th and Wallingford Ave. N from 3 – 7 pm.

In addition to new and former vendors, the market will include cooking demonstrations from local culinary extraordinaires from 4 – 5pm. On Wednesday, May 19, Chef Rachel Yang of Joule Restaurant will present, followed by Chef Dustin Ronspies from Art of the Table on Wednesday, May 26.

Erin Leach-Kemon moved to Seattle from her one-stoplight hometown of Middleburg, Va. in fall 2008.
