Yesterday, with the arrival of nice weather, my wife Wanda and I took a walk from our location down at Latona across Wallingford and back, stopping at several businesses along the way. I have been here in Wallingford for over 40 years and was struck by how vibrant and exciting our community has become. I am a little embarrassed at not recognizing many of the businesses as we went but now that I know they are there I will make sure to patronize them. I also noticed what pride there is in the shops and the recent facelifts of many of the buildings. It all made me feel very good about our neighborhood.
