Two, count them, two of them “group discount” services are offering deals for Wallingford businesses today:

  • Babalu is offering “Admission for up to 6 people plus a bottle of champagne” for $30 through LivingSocial. We actually didn’t realize that Babalu charged a cover, so the “admission for up to 6 people” was a surprise, but they claim the bottle of champagne is worth $70. We guess it’s priced better than the $99 tv dinners.
  • Essential Life Therapy is offering $70 worth of massage for $35 through Groupon. $35 for a massage is a real bargain, and you deserve it. Treat yourself. It will help with that hangover you have from all that Babalu champagne.

Both of these offers are good today only.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore.
