Oddities Along Wallingford Ave.

  • Post author:

Unquestionably the strangest item I have ever seen put out for free on the curb.  A box decorated like a giant red dice.  My mind boggles at the motivation for creating it and the use its future owner will put it to.  I don’t question that it will soon have a future owner.

The easy way to exercise your dog.  Leash it to your bike and go for a ride.

Welcome back wacky, wonderful Wallingford wurst wizard!

Whole lotta stickers goin’ on.

Shame he’s handicapped but remarkable that he’s learned how to drive.

Helen

Helen has lived in Wallingford for 16 years and think it’s the best neighborhood in Seattle, possibly the world. She has worn a track between her house, QFC and the library and spends a lot time poking her nose into things. She is a mother, does volunteer work and is interested in local, green and child-related issues. She has an advanced degree in English literature and thus reads a lot and enjoys the craft of writing. She also works part-time for her husband’s software company (doesn’t everyone have a software company around here?).

An improperly-constructed *die*, I might add: as any gambler or gamer knows, opposite faces of a die add to seven, and this one clearly does not obey that rule. 🙂

    Yes, strictly a non-functional, for-decoration-purposes-only die.
