As we noted last time they offered this, we were at first thrown by the offer of a “brazilian”, which we thought would be awkward to obtain in their window-encircled salon. Apparently, it’s got another meaning.

While we’re at it, we should mention that, in addition to being our very own stylist, Colleen Kurke, the owner of Cutz, is the incoming president of the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce. Wish her well when you stop in for your brazilian.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore.
