Think the rest of it is buried under there?

Alas, the curse of January.  Festive decorations going away.

Handy, aren’t they?

Key Bank coming soon.

Do-it-yourself lock repair at The Fainting Goat.

Touching up the Taekwondo place too.

Helen

Helen has lived in Wallingford for 16 years and think it’s the best neighborhood in Seattle, possibly the world. She has worn a track between her house, QFC and the library and spends a lot time poking her nose into things. She is a mother, does volunteer work and is interested in local, green and child-related issues. She has an advanced degree in English literature and thus reads a lot and enjoys the craft of writing. She also works part-time for her husband’s software company (doesn’t everyone have a software company around here?).

Fun to watch the Key Bank renovations. (Any large construction project is fun to watch — as long as you’re not paying for it. 🙂 )

For a while, I thought they might be knocking down the entire structure (or at least taking it down to the studs), but I guess they’re going to keep the overall framework and outside walls.

Aw..the saddest day is when holiday decorations come down. One of my neighbors still has their Christmas tree up, brightly lit and in the front window, and I often mean to drop them a note saying how much I enjoy seeing it.
