Key to Success Dinner at the Boys & Girls Club

It won’t be the cheapest spaghetti you’ve ever eaten, but it’s for a good cause. Jacqui wrote us:

Join the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club for a Key to Success Dinner from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Thursay, February 17th at the club. Dinner will be served between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. All proceeds from this spaghetti dinner will go toward helping WBGC Keystone Club members attend the National Conference in Orlando, Florida in March. Enjoy a spaghetti dinner and hear our teen leaders talk about the work they have been doing around the club and the community.

Tickets are $15 at the door. If you cannot attend but would like to show your support, please contact Jen Crispino ([email protected]).

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    Please check the calendar….Feb.17th is on THURSDAY. There’s Monday 2/14 and Monday 2/21, so check and correct. Thanks!

      Thanks for the correction, N & PJG. When it was sent to me, it was sent as MONDAY, JANUARY 17th. I didn’t read the cut-and-paste or the flier carefully, since the body of the e-mail that contained it said otherwise. My bad for not being more attentive. I’ve corrected it above.

    The date for the spaghetti feed is Thursday Feb 17th at the Wallingford Boys & GIrls Club. Please come out and support our teens!
