Will (snap) you (snap) marry (snap)…

Archie McPhee’s awesomely named blog, Endless Geyser of Awesome, had this awesome story on Saturday:

Today, at our Seattle store, a customer used the photo booth to propose to his girlfriend. As you can see in the picture above, he held a different sign for each of the four pictures that spelled out “Will you marry me?” He had her get the picture from the machine. She said yes! Definitely, one of the most romantic things to ever happen at Archie McPhee.

Come on, if that ain’t just the sweetest.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

Whatever, Cat, this guy’s method was totally different!

I think it’s really cool. And says a lot about the fun they’ve already learned to have as a couple. Fun is vital. 😉

Aw Cat, you buzzkill. Chuckling at the idea of a “recycled proposal”; I mean, how many billions of times have guys successfully gone down on one knee at a >insert-romantic-location-here< holding a little velvet box, to the delight of their intended? Marriage proposals aren't an extreme sport reality show originality competition, they're just whatever feels right and fun to a particular couple at the time.
