Birds and the Bees

Given our fascination with honeybees and chickens, you wouldn’t be blamed for taking the post title literally here.

Nope. Euphemism all the way, folks.

Julie gave us the buzz on this free, public event sponsored by The Meridian School Parent Association:

“The Meridian School Parent Association is pleased to host parent-educator Amy Lang of Birds + Bees + Kids as she speaks to parents about how to talk to school-age children about their sexuality, love and relationships.

This free, public parent event is Tuesday, March 6 from 7 – 8:30 pm in The Chapel Theater of the Good Shepherd Center at 4649 Sunnyside Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98103.  No reservations required.  Adults only please.

Jordan

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
