Art Walk Receptions

On Monday, we promised to give a shout out to the artists who would be in person with their work during tonight’s Wallingford Art Walk (6 – 9 pm). Here’s what we know:

  • Kathy Liao will be at Fuel (1705 N 45th St)
  • Sarah Diehl will be at Wallingford’s Fremont Midwifery (44th and Burke)
  • Jim says he’s going to work on getting Lorraine Fryett to come to Smash Wine Bar

We’re sure there are more. Let us know what we missed!

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.

    There will also be a party at The StuStuStudio tonight for Artwalk! (1216 N 40th st). We’ll be featuring local artist Jeanie Lewis (she’ll be present), we’ll have a DJ starting at 7pm, and hand made jewelry by Dotted Line. Snacks and bevies provided.
