We had a customer come in on a Saturday and asked for water for his dog, so we gave him some water, and he took our doggy water dish with him as he was going for breakfast, he left $40 on our counter and said he’d be back to buy a plant and return our dog dish. Well, I had to lock the door and go on a nearby delivery, by the time I came back the doggy dish was at our front door.

So we are looking for the man that came by that day to give him his plant (he lives in the neighborhood as he was walking with his dog). I know what he looks like, but I don’t know his name. Male, caucasion, tall, w/a large dog (lab?). Please post this on the blog, as we would really like to give this man his plant. Thank you in advance for your help.

I started Wallyhood back in 2008, right when my son was born, because I realized I had lived in the neighborhood since 1993 and didn't really know my neighbors. I figured writing a blog about what was going on around me would be a good way to meet people and help other people do the same. As the years progressed, those neighbors have picked up the torch and it is now a group effort, which I adore. I moved out of Wallingford for a few years (2020 - 2025), but I'm back, now living with my wife, son and dog (Dillinger) up in Tangletown.
