3rd Annual Dine Out For Animals

Shannon September 29, 2010 Comments are off

At age five, I was organizing tea parties with Cabbage Patch dolls and My Little Pony make believe horse shows; five-year-old Lucas Engles-Klann is organizing this Sunday, October 3rd’s Third Annual Dine Out for Animals Silent Auction, Make-Your-Own Pizza Dinner (vegetarian of course), and Fundraiser held at Elemental and Elemental Next Door from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m.  The space has been graciously donated by Phred Westfall and Laurie Riedeman.

All proceeds made will benefit the Woodland Park Zoo.  Last year the annual event raised $5,000 for gorilla animal care and habitats at Woodland Park Zoo.  This year Dine Out for Animals is benefiting even more animals: gorillas, turtles, Northern Trail grizzly bears, and the wildlife that has been drastically affected by the oil spill in the Gulf.  Proceeds for the Gulf will be donated to the Audubon Society.

Please make a reservation and/or donation by emailing [email protected] or call Jennifer at (206)-245-6177.  Cost is $50 for adults and $30 for kids, which includes food and beverages.
