Friends of McDonald School Need Volunteers

Shannon September 17, 2010 Comments are off

(Wallyhood welcomes a new writer, Shannon Scott)

The new play structure has been delivered to McDonald School at 54th and Latona and is anxiously awaiting its installation.  The Friends of McDonald School are in need of volunteers to assist in the installation process during the weekend of Friday, September 24th-Monday, September 27th.  With the help of volunteers the new play structure will be complete and ready for inspection.

This project has been funded by the City of Seattle Neighborhood Matching Fund, King County Youth Sports Facilities Grant Program, and donations from neighboring individuals.

To volunteer please contact Kathleen Ellsbury 206-525-1566 or Barb Reid 206-523-3381.  For more information and volunteer scheduling, visit the Friends of McDonald School website.
