On a typical evening I’m found dealing with the constant hustle and bustle of the week, hurrying to get dinner served, and my son off to bed, while mentally preparing myself for the couple of hours I get to absorb on my own. However, last Monday night I was allowed into what appeared to be a secret society of dogs and their owners, right here in Wallingford at 4015 Stone Way North.
Susan Oshie, the owner of Paws 4 Training was thrilled to welcome me into her studio for a look into her local dog training business. After more than 20 years of experience, Susan has been transforming her client’s relationships with their dogs into a well mannered routine through obedience training. As I ventured into the studio, I was met by several dog owners and their four-legged companions, both big and small, wagging their tails and eagerly awaiting instruction.
Starting as a volunteer at pet clinics and working her way into becoming a Surgical Technician for several local vets in the Seattle area, Susan nurtured her passion for animals. Her devotion and dog training skills have helped to better the lives for over 1,000 dogs and their owners.
