Fresh Fitness and Dance

Shannon January 2, 2011 1 Comment

Fresh Fitness and Dance (4430 Corliss Ave North) is coming to the Wallingford neighborhood. Stop by the new studio Sunday, January 9, at 4:30pm for the Grand Opening, featuring live performances by instructors, refreshments, and appetizers, plus a 90-minute Zumba kick-off party.

FRESH FITNESS & DANCE is bringing its upscale ambiance, eco-friendly amenities, and talented, professionally trained instructors to a beautiful new location in Wallingford. FFD is a one-stop shop for people of all ages and genders who want to obtain – and maintain – total health and wellness through a variety of traditional and non-traditional fitness and dance classes.

Fresh Fitness and Dance’s founder and lead instructor Dee, is a Seattle native who grew up in the Wallingford neighborhood, and is excited to have her studio be a part of the community.  Dee obtained her BA in  marketing from the University of Washington, and her background includes extensive dance training from prestigious academies including the American Institute of Dance, Payton’s School of Dance, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ewago Dance, and Dancing Forever.

Happiest on the dance floor, Dee is thrilled to have created a studio space where she can share the fun, health, community, and confidence gained through fitness and dance.  Her goal for Fresh Fitness and Dance is to create a place where people in the community can come together and have a place to connect, and share stories while also meeting new people.  The service at Fresh Fitness and Dance is VIP–you are greeted with a wonderful hostess towel service and complimentary refreshments.  The studio offers a beautiful, bright and airy relax/stretch room, that you can use before or after class.  Classes are available for kids, teens, adults, and there are wonderful dance classes designed for couples or singles who want to meet others in the community.

According to Fresh Fitness and Dance:

We are excited to join the community with our commitment to quality customer service.  We have a wide range of both fitness and dance classes for the whole family, and our promise to give back to the community. Our focus is to make fitness fun by offering a wide variety of classes including Zumba, Pilates, Hula, Bellydance, Ballet, Salsa, Samba, Boot Camps, and so much more (class description)!! All classes are included in our membership with the option to take your talents to the next level by participating in our rotational series classes.
